The Azeroth Tinkers Union (ATU) is a progressive, diversified trade union that primarily represents operating engineers, mechanics, stationary engineers, who work in operations and maintenance in building and industrial complexes, and miners.

This representation is the core of ATU’s mission. From ensuring protections of  prevailing wages on public projects, to alleviating healthcare costs through coalition building, to improving our contractors’ competitiveness, ATU has and will continue to be tirelessly dedicated to the common interests of its members.

Founded after the cataclysm, when engineers were put to work rebuilding Stormwind in dangerous and inhumane conditions, the ATU today has over 400 members in 13 local unions throughout the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. ATU is the 12th largest union in Azeroth. Over 10 state-of-the-art training and apprenticeship programs ensure that ATU members are the safest, most productive, highly skilled craft workers.

Our leader, Grand Tinker Jorby Firesprocket heads the ATU from a secret location.  The base of operations in Ironforge is run by High Tinker Gregoric Dobzahnsky.

The Azeroth Tinkers Union is an RP-PvP guild on the Twisting Nether server.  We are a light-hearted RP guild with a simple backstory: we're a group of unionized engineers and miners who banded together to demand better treatment and compensation from the Alliance who has repeatedly mistreated their tinkering employees.

Our enemies:
We mark the Bilgewater Cartel and their KORE group as our enemies and competitors.  Goblin engineers have stolen their technology from the gnomish engineers of the Alliance and will sell their technology to any rogue faction that is willing to pay them.  Goblins, in general, are the enemies of the ATU.

Non-union engineers, or 'scabs', bring down the price of engineering and directly threaten the goals of the ATU.  Such engineers may simply not know about our fine organization and should first be informed of the benefits and offered entrance to the guild.  Those who refuse should be treated as bitter enemies.

Our friends:
The good people at the Twisting Nether Gazette allow us to publish our materials and recruit enterprising engineers, and are to be respected and treated with dignity for their hard work.
